Hello,
If anyone knows about any project related with simulation models for
GSM and cdma2000 (physical layer) please send me or post the contact
information for that or those projects. At Universidad del Valle
(Colombia) we´re investigating on those techs, because are the ones
installed in the area. Thanks!

Hi friends:
I have been thinking...I do not have RF Generator and Periodic/Log
Antennas....but I have APs, wireless cards and 24/19 dBi grids antennas.
If I know the transmission power (of AP or wireless cards), the antenna
gain (24 or 19) and the distance transmitter-receiver ¿why I cannot
calculate the gain of an antenna under test? or ¿can I do?
what do you think?
In the other hand, I would like, if somebody would send me the Short and
Long Distance Links Reports ... I am sorry, I lost that
information...very thanks in advance...
Best Regards
Luis

Hello friends!
I am looking for information about PHS technology; technology and

Hi!
I am measuring the output power of wireless cards and APs. Mi procedure
es to introduce directly the output (antenna conector) of the equipment
to input of Spectrum Analyzer (ESA).
I have two problems:
1. I do not have doubts for insert to ESA; 14,17 and 20 dBm wireless
cards. The 4404B resists until 30 dBm (but 0 Vdc)...but I fear introduce
30 dBm exactly...4404B have a input attenuator but...when I introduce a
signal, the value power displayed in the ESA screen does not change
although I vary the value of attenuation..I do not know what happens.
¿how I could be sure that the internal attenuator is working? Of course,
with an external attenuator, I would not have problems, but, I do not
have one!
2. When I introduce the output power of a 17 dB wireless card to ESA,
the signal is not continuos, the signal hop hop in an interval of 100
MHz...it is normal?
I am attaching an picture of ESA, I get this image changing the typical
value of Sweep Time (4 ms) to 2 s.
Best regards

Hi all!
You can upload photos (and I am very curious to see them!!!) using the
Photo item on the menu on the left of the ICT4SD page. You must have a
Yahoo account to be able to upload the photos. You can also upload
general files (as for example documents) using the Files item of the
same menu.
Looking forward to seeing your photos!
Ciao,

First I have to thank the people who came up with this idea, and
members in all.
Please am trying to identify a research problem for my PhD within the
area of wireless security, so am asking members to help in this
struggle. I would be nice if the problem also addresses the problem
in developing countries.
