A few days ago I made 1.0.1 (Beta 1) available on the web and ftp site.
However, I did not announce it and will not do widespread announcement
of this version outside these mailing lists and the web site.
This is just for me to save time as I hope to do another release again
shortly. The current version fixes a few of the bugs discovered in
1.0.0 (Code Candidate) and also adds the new socket handling written
from scratch for 1.1+ code.
