This listserv has been created for the dissemination of relevant non-ISAZ news and announcements. Official ISAZ announcements will continue to be distributed by the ISAZ Board to all members.

Only ISAZ members can post to this group or review the archives, and only members of ISAZ are eligible for membership. This is a moderated group, so each post will be screened. Only relevant and appropriate posts will be made available to the membership.

This list is to be used for information that is potentially relevant to members of the Society, but that is not related specifically to ISAZ business. For example, announcements for conferences related to human-animal interactions would be an acceptable use of this forum. Our current vision is that this list will be used only for relevant announcements (e.g., job postings, calls for papers, conference announcements), not for general discussion, so as to limit the amount of mail its members receive.

If you are interested in subscribing to a discussion listserv, I would suggest the Human-Animal Studies listserv, which can be found at the following link (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/humananimalstudies/). The Human-Animal Studies listserv is not owned by ISAZ, but it is a great source of scholarly discussion related to human-animal interactions.
