Description

This is a discussion group for users of the Iron Spring PL/I compiler. Bugs, comments, questions, tips and general discussion are welcome.

This compiler is currently in beta status for OS/2, and alpha for Linux from Iron Spring Software (http://www.iron-spring.com).

This group is read by both users and developers. Only on-topic posts
will be permitted. For general discussion of the PL/I language or
other PL/I compilers please see the usenet group comp.lang.pl1 or the
corresponding Google group.

For additional information on PL/I see "The PL/I Language"

The PLIFILL builtin is a fast way to set an an arbitrary number of bytes at a specified address to a single character value, e.g. '00'x.

That slipped under the radar. There's no way to do it right now, but it'll get on the list for a future release.
