Hi all,
My name is Nasen Moodley and I work for a solution provider company
in South Africa. We typically implement packaged software solutions
but we do some development and customisation. However, our main
focus is to deliver out of the box solutions as far as possible.
I have just taken up the position of Business Analysis Manager and I
am in the process of putting together a methodology for the
analysis of requirements as per customer's requests for proposals.
Because of the "out-of-the-box" focus, the system would typically
follow: what the customer wants, what we can deliver, what the gaps
are, how we can accomodate the gaps, and then determine how long it
should take to implement.
I want to know if anyone has any ideas or existing methodologies
that I can use to put together a formal structure for the Business
Analysis department.
Your assistance and guidance will be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Nasen Moodley
