distribute -time critical-Webinar on Climate Change and Waste
Certainly anyone with an internet connection can sign up
individually to watch the webinar on their own computer by clicking on the link
in Sue's e-mail below. Sue - will EPA post information that could be
accessed afterward to review the material if someone missed it next Thursday?
I just chatted with Syed Hashim, ISU's Environmental Specialist with Facilities
Services, and although he felt ISU would likely have facilities that could
accommodate participating in this together, it would obviously be very
difficult to publicize it in time for next Thursday. Perhaps instead we
could focus on organizing and publicizing the second part on July 16 and the third
part on August 5, referring to online summaries of the previous part if those
will be posted?
I will be out of town for the July date but am willing to help some with
getting it set up and Syed is willing to help with publicity. Anyone else
interested or able to help? Sue, perhaps you and I could work on this
after your deadline next Thursday? Is anyone likely to be interested
beyond city workers and the city recycling committee?
Cathy

I apologize for the short notice. If there is a chance that this webinar could be hosted by ICAN through ISU that would be wonderful. I am completelly booked to Thursday 11am, so cannot provide any logistical support. Let me know if you are signing up for it. As I will try to make it too.
thanks all
