We have heard it said: think with reason and not with your emotions. But it can only be that reason and emotion are one, and so say goodbye to the said principle of excluded middle. We learn that the middle term holds human and dancer as one, and it signifies a vital doorway to the transcendental. To progress we use of reason to only tame our emotions, and it is only the mature vitality that wins over in the end. The question returns again and again: are we human or dancer? But the two are one, and it is sung in a thousand voices, and up to ladder we climb, bird, tiger and human:
