The tendency to search for causes can become an affliction, when causation and determinism is declared absolute. The search for causes must come to an end when the acausal is discovered, lest the tension will fester until a resolution is realized. And doubting irritation can burn so very deeply.
Deduction cannot work in isolation. Deduction needs its induction, and so deduction works to purify induction as Popper sought. The declaration comes that newly discovered starting prepositions are "obviously correct," but these prepositions can only come as a purified induction. The feeling of accomplishment and wonder comes with the reuniting of deduction with its inducting, and deduction finds itself being reduced to vegetative growth as the spirit returns to source.
Neither can induction work in isolation. The stark inductive argument comes off as blind faith, but ultimately self-evidence cannot be blind. Induction needs its deduction to purify itself, and this permits the self-evidence to be closer to source.
The feeling is stark, and to this there can be no doubt. We work hard at accepting our feelings for the way they are, but additional purification is required if agitation continues. We search for what is starkly real and has no cause, and we learn to use our best words to describe what has become self-evident. The explanation is merely the tension returning to source, revealing the vegetative growth again. The space-time fabric is that malleable, with its actio n principles and symmetries, it is a glove that fits a hand. And the second law of thermodynamics is that poorly constructed, the heat death is merely the tension being returned to source. There is no cause that stands isolated from its boundary condition, and there is no feeling that is not a synthetic that cries out for its purification.
Evolution is the vegetative growth. There is a very simple grammar that permits life to spring from the acausal, and permits the self-cultivation of intelligence. It is only the concept of self that is found returning to source, while Darwin’s conception of evolution deconstructs in the face of an innate vitalism that becomes self-evident.
