See: anything the RIAA/MPAA has done in the past decade. Black marker around the
edge of the disc? oops. Multiple man-years of development effort, defeated in ~6
hours by a 11-year-old with a sharpie.

I think the original product posted was more about *physical* security, though.
Perhaps I misread it... seemed like junk. :)
