Hi Folks,

As a retired EE, I have never seen a fan installed to
cool a relay.

I fact most relays are designed to be continuous duty
devices and are designed to draw a minimum amout of
current to get the job done.

Probably the only ones in everyday use today that are
not designed for continuous use are the relays used in
the starting motor circuit for our cars. On these the
mode of failure is usually contact erosion from the
high currents handled, not coil burnout.
