I have a Maas Rowe that uses Rods, it is played by a piano type
keyboard, each key that is played is in turn sending a signal to a
solnoid that strikes the rod. each rod has a pick-up to amplify the
chime sound that the rod is tuned to. The pick-up output can be
input into a computer to make mp'3 or played through the internal
amplifier.
This unit is for sale if anyone is interested!
