Long time. I expect to be back to working on the Adventure Engine soon.

In the mean time, here's one or two news items to enjoy or tolerate:

First Item: 4BlindMice: I noticed that shutting down windows without first
quitting
from 4BlindMice falsely invoked the crash reporting and self healing mechanism
in
4BlindMice. The new version prevents this with a dialog. Also, some sound
cards were
missing out on dings and clicks on the highest notes so I lowered them. The new
version
(1.4) is posted. To regain any functionality that was lost due to false crash
reports,
you can delete the file called BadClasses.txt from the 4BlindMice directory.

The second item is of interest to low vision (or sighted), and if you enjoy
Worship
music. There is a new program called Home Group Overhead. There's no bouncing
ball,
but it displays song lyrics super magnified one line at a time on the screen
while
Vineyard worship CDs play. At present it only works with two of their CDs but
the list
will soon be growing a lot. And it also displays words to hymns in the same
way, but
you get to advance the words manually one line at a time. It has the words to
over 300
hymns already built in. One can put in and program their own words too, if
desired.
