Hi Folks.
I do get all your messages sent to inspiredcode@....
Many internet companies use paranoid spam filters that refuse to
accept perfectly good email from huge huge blocks of IP addresses,
based on public spam filter databases. Such broad brushing filters
deny you access to much of your good mail in addition to much of the spam.
I cannot afford to miss a single one of your email messages, so I
actually had to fight to make sure that my public email address
remains totally unfiltered. My internet provider was good about
creating new features that I use to keep it that way.
Instead of spam filtering I use a specialized email reciept. When you
write to me you get an immediate response that appears at first glance
to be a bounce message.
When you read the response it tells you that I have gotten your
message and am reading it. This fools the spam mailing robots and
keeps them from burying your mail to me under tons of spam.
Unfortunately, I cannot force all internet providers to keep from
filtering out perfectly good mail, including mine. It is just a
matter of luck and timing as to what groups of internet users get
their mail rejected in this way.
Now that I am aware that my neighborhood of the internet is being
blocked by certain paranoid spam filter lists I will resend my recent
replies, using my yahoo account. It is unlikely that any ISP will be
filtering my host provider at the same time as filtering out yahoo mail.
If any InspiredCode user sends me a message and does not recieve an
answer from me within 48 hours, please send me another message
requesting that I reply using my Yahoo account.
This has been trying for all of us, and the trend will continue until
all the spam criminals are sent to prison where they belong. In the
mean time we can work around it. Thank you for your patience.
