Re Sacred Heart Painting. The HOLY BIBLE KJV published by Bobley
Publishing Corporation in 1935 has the painting that you describe of
Jesus wearing a Blue Robe. The Painting that I have in My BIBLE from
1962 Shows Him casting out the Moneychangers, also wearing a Blue Robe
over a Red Gown.
The Info form both says Museum of National History,Hillerod,Denmark.
Their web site shows a painting that was done by Andrea Mantegna
1431-1506. This may be the person that painted the one used by the
church as he was commissioned to do the painting on several of their
churches at the time.
David
I have one clue to help someone find a lead on the painting for me, if
desired:
Evidently this painting is used in:
/Source: The Catholic Encyclopedia, revised and updated, edited by
Robert Broderick, copyright 1987, published by Thomas Nelson Publishers,
page 535./
but notice that the aura in this image used there is slightly green on
the right,
which is different from the blue of the image I cited elsewhere.
Nonetheless, if anyone has this reference book, perhaps it will tell the
author of the painting.
Hi Folks.
I have been locating public domain artwork for an inspirational
multimedia presentation to use in an upcoming software product. I
have found the most wonderful painting of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
where Jesus is in a blue robe. According to two web sites I have
seen, this picture is in the public domain because it is old. I would
like to know who painted it, and when, and anything else I can find
out about it.
Here is the picture:
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Cor-jesus.jpeg
And at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacred_Heart
which links to:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Heart2.jpg
And it is also seen at:
http://biblia.com/jesusart/heart2.htm (top picture)
If you know of any hymnal, book, gallery, etc that has this image,
or if you know who painted it, perhaps even when, and what it is
called by the artist, please let me know.
Thanks!
The sound menu lets ChurchBells behave as a talking clock or as a chime
only clock without the tunes.
It is primarily for visually impaired users.

I have tried pressing each one and doing a sound test. There is no
change that I can see. What are these for and how do I use them?

Hi David.
It's always great to hear from you.
I'm glad I don't sell Media player. (grin).
By the way, your message went out to the whole group.
Many email providers do too much in filtering legitimate mail,
blacklisting whole neighborhoods with a broad brush.
As a result I have occasionally missed messages while various people's
neighborhood fade off the bad list. Therefore I understand
occasionally having to reestablish contact via the group.
Even so, I try keep private traffic off the main group as much as
possible under the circumstances. You might have been trying to use
an expired address for me. Therefore, when I send you your code
privately I'll also send you my latest email address that's on my web
site.
Blessings,
Robison

Robison I had to reload Windows on my computer and my Full code was
errased. My demo code is gjqoea-fjcory.
Also just for your INFO. My computer is running Windows Media Player
9. every time it tries to load the #10 update the Hard drive frezzes
up. I have to tell it to not load Player10 updates at least once a week.
I have tried several times but it will not take Media Player 10.

Hi Brian.
I'm pretty sure that is the latest.
I have been buried deep in an ongoing project that I will share when it
is ready.
I'm pretty excited about it, but will hold my tongue until I can offer
it to all. In
the mean time, as it has been consuming my time, I have been adding
things to
the list of items to consider for the next ChurchBells update. Once I
release
the present project I will then put out the word to ask folks for their
comments
again toward the next ChurchBells update. I will try to remember what
people
have said, but when the time comes, I'm sure the reminders will also help.
The things I am not likely to forget are:
1. Accomodating long file names for music files
2. Native treatment of MP3's just as if they were waves
3. Effective protection against accidentally erasing the schedule file.
Sorry it took so long to get to your message.
I hope that helps.
I have been running Church Bells for over two years without any
problems. I have run the auto update every once in a while, including
this morning, via UpdateCB.exe and everything still works great.
I am curious though, my ChurchBells.exe is dated 7/20/2005. Is that
the current version? The tab reads ChurchBells 2.4.2
OK I got it to work. Thanks for the help everyone. I had to remove the
badger program 3 times before iI found that I needed to load the WEB
instal program for Badger. The DSL program just wouldn't load
anything. (I have SBC DSL)
Anyway Everything is working now.
Thanks agin
David
Hi, since that is in a temporary folder it will not matter.
Simply download the latest version and install.
This should solve the problems.
If not you can probably use something like Ccleaner to delete the temporary files.
Note: when downloading the new program you're better off saving it than opening it, which is I presume what you did to cause the installer to end up in temp.
I have tried to remove the program as you told me but when I reload it the same Program reappears. I conducted a search and removed every file and item that was shown even the Badger File. there is one Application file that I cannot remove No mater ho I try. It shows to be the old application from July 2005, when we were In the Azores. The file says 740kb Application 7/20/2005 located in the localsettings\temp\Church1.cab How do I remove tihs so I may download a new Program?

Hopefully it will go just fine as you say, and even if there are hiccups,
it is never a bother; we will get you there!

I have the full license and have been running my program for ovewr 2 yrs.
I started having trouble with the Program after I returned from the
Azores. I had to get a new Full code from Robinson because it had
returned to the demo mode when it was turned back on. (spent 1 month
in transit form Europe)

Hi David.
I'm not sure what went on there with the Update.
It obviously did not find the folder in which to place the ChurchBells
program.
Some older versions need to install the full rather than update, because
enough things got to be different. Later versions just get the update
though.
If you reinstall the program you will keep your license; it won't go away.
So you can safely uninstall, then install the latest full version.
I hope this helps.
Blessing,
Robison
PS I really appreciate helpful people ready and willing to help; what a
blessing!

If you have purchase the
program. Then when you are going through each menu for
the year the week the day you have to save each one of those. You have to back out and save each one of the
programs.Read the instructions all the
way through. It will crash your computer
and you will have to reload the program if you don’t save each one.The instructions go over it.

Program update
I attempted to update my Program but received a
message ,cannot create
ChurchBells.exe. After following the instructions and rebooting my
computer I ran the program and was advised that there was no start
folder and that I would have to remove the STRTBELL myself. I ran
surch and found that there IS no folder. I have to start ChurchBell
everytime I turn the computer on In the morning.
Is there a way to get this folder with out reloading the program and
getting a new access code.
David
Have you paid for the program? If not you can not save your schedules

I do believe Robison uses a Keyboard to create these wonderful rich sounding carillon sounds. The music sounds very much like a rack of bell being played. As far as the getting the music is concerned I would just download his DEMO program it does come with bell music however you will have a limit time to use it and no programing ability's.
Then if you like it, just purchase the proper version it and you will have a very good program for you to use. Hope this helps

Hi Folks.
The Harmonious Bells General Hymn Collection Download Pack #3 is now
available.
I have now updated the http://inspiredCode.net/MoreHymns.htm
site to show a link to a list of melodies in Download Pack 3.
The General Hymn Collection sets are now available only by Download.
However, if you order two or more GHC sets and write to me I could
burn you a free CD of the downloads you ordered as a favor.
Thanks!

Hi Folks.
I always want to know that ChurchBells works perfectly for you no matter
what.
Microsoft has made some sweeping changes lately that should not affect
anything we need,
but just to make sure I want to get a little information from those who
are using WinXP SP2.
If you are not running (or did not run) XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) then
nevermind.
But if you are (or were) running ChurchBells on a Windows XP SP2 system,
please let me know:
1. Did it work or did you have to change computers?
2. Was (is) it Windows XP Home or XP Professional?
3. Do (did) you have Norton, McAffee or Corel or MS Office oon that
machine?
4. How did (does) it behave?
This is part of an ongoing effort to make sure that ChurchBells will
always serve you properly,
even after you wear out your present computer and have to get a new one
someday.
Thanks for your time.
Robison Bryan
Hi folks.
I think I was hasty with my last posting about constraints for
scheduling ChurchBells.
I just tried a schedule that broke all those rules and it ran fine.
But it's always good to be deliberate about what you are doing, and
keeping ChurchBells doing just one thing at a time makes good sense in
general.
I'll keep looking into this issue. Only two machines that I know of
have had any problems, but it could be a timing thing, who knows.
If it's anything other than a couple users with hard drives on the way
out then I'll let you know. I've had other users who had dying
computers before.
Although there are hundreds of churches running this software all over
the world, I take any failure very seriously.
