Interesting. Plug this into google and you will get many hits:
gis journalism "peer-reviewed" journal
But most seem to be of articles being written about a researcher's work --
they are rarely academics or journalists doing their own research and
writing it up for publication. I can't remember a GIS paper at AEJMC,
either.
