if  u    familiya  with  java  swings  the  u  can  go  for  this,  otherwise 
u  can  Delfi  for  FrontEND  design.

what technology do you use in UI layer ?

if you use ADF Framework, you might use SelectOneChoice ,it's like combobox.

and any adf components have readonly property ,you can change readonly to

true .in that case components act as readonly component.

for shamsi date ,first of all you should find a function to convert georgian

date to shamsi, and then use it in selectInput Control.
