"What kind of egomaniac must this Joseph Dunphy person be to name a list 'Joseph Dunphy'. Is he saying that the whole world needs to hear that name, Joseph Dunphy, as many times as possible or is his world so sad and limited that it is contained on that gripe page of his?" Neither, actually. This is the update list for my webpages. Why name the list after myself? Because one of the major search engines is poorly administered. "Huh?", you ask. A few years ago, I found that I had to transfer my homepage to a new provider because the old one was censoring my pages and providing bad service. Ever since then, despite the fact that I followed THEIR directions about how to deal with this problem, the old site remained listed and the new location didn't. Writing to them only made matters worse, the old location vanishing under some searches and the new location remaining absent. Try finding my page by searching under "Joseph Dunphy". It won't appear. End result: while a number of openly defamatory pages appear in that index, my rebuttal to them does not, leaving my rebuttal to them unseen, a fine reward indeed for having done nothing more than follow THEIR directions. What else can I do other than name the update list after myself, hope that the Yahoo search engine follows this at least (leading people to the Halls in the process) and warn others to ignore those url update instructions? Re: Found on ePlaya: Weird and Scary
... Today's Burning Man, at least. The one I saw in 2001 was a much different creation, but times have changed and in this case, definitely not for the better

Oh, and I do have a few blogs ...
... which should be a little more interesting to read as summer begins. Right now, what is there to write about? I'm putting up the last of the winter fruit
