Jung and tattoos

Hi there,
Does anyone know anything about tattoos? As in, since most cultures seem to
practise (sp?) some form of body modification, and Jung formulated much of
his theory through visiting other cultures, I thought perhaps someone might
have come across something he’d written about them.
Any help would be most appreciated – it’s for my PhD thesis.
Thanx
Desley
