President's Letter
Dear Members and Friends,
This Saturday will be our final meeting for the year. It will be a very special
evening as we
have Robert Bosnak as our guest speaker presenting his research results on the
influence
of working with dreams in psychotherapy on the immune system in patients
suffering from
chronic fatigue. Robert is an exciting speaker, and the results of his research
conducted
through Harvard Medical School are ground breaking.
Please do come along for this fascinating talk. (for further details click here)
Immediately after RobertÕs talk is our Christmas party at the Red Salt
Restaurant at the
Crowne Plaza Hotel. We warmly invite you to join us for a drink and canapˇs in
the best of
company. (for more details click here)
In October, Marie Makinson was our guest speaker. Her presentation Pig: Prima
Materia,
The Pig in Myth and Dreams, explored the symbolism of the pig from Neolithic
times
onwards in western culture. Marie shared wonderful images, myths, stories and
dreams
about this animal honouring its earthy intelligence and its associations with
abundance,
death and renewal. She also touched on contemporary issues involving pigs such
as
modern farming practices and genetic modification and patenting. It was a most
generous
and absorbing presentation- thank you Marie!
We are now preparing our next edition of Jung Downunder. If you would like to
