Description
The purpose of the K9 Forensic list is to share information or ask questions about using specially trained canines to search for Human Remains and Forensic Evidence. Topics may include actual searches, training techniques, research, upcoming seminars or other related topics. We would like for people in this unusual field to share ideas and information that will be useful to others.
This list was started in 1997 by Adela Morris with the purpose of promoting professionalism, to exchange knowledge about training and the use of specially trained canines. Over the years we have covered many topics for both canine handlers and agencies wishing to use these dogs. It has been a great way to keep up with new information and what is happening in this field around the world.
Please note this list is NOT about searching for live persons or training dogs to search for live persons. Postings should be restricted to Human Remains Detection and Forensic Evidence.
