Description
Kinders start with a cross between the Nubian and the Pygmy Goat. They are a dual purpose breed, functioning well for both dairy and meat production. Kinders are very intelligent and are notable for their sweet dispositions. They are aseasonal breeders, and multiple kids are the norm.
The photo was taken August 27, 2005 at the Evergreen State Fair Parade in Monroe, WA, of part of the Goats for God's Glory Kinder Club parade entry. Aren't kids and kids wonderful? And yes, here's the evidence that Kinders can be trained to pull carts too! See the NW Photo Album for more.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Kinders! This forum is not a formal part of the Kinder Goat Breeders Association, but is an open, privately managed forum for the free exchange of all things Kinder. It is a source for information for those who are curious about the Kinder, or who want to locate Kinder contacts, find stock, sell stock or goat-related products, and share experiences and ideas. You are the manager of what information you want to read, so if it doesn't interest you, you are free to use your 'delete' key. Any spam or messages deemed inappropriate by the list manager will be banished into the outer darkness as soon as it is noticed. Messages are monitored at least once daily, so please be patient, and enjoy the exchange. Thank you.
