LA-Rocks is a group of rockhounds generally based around Los Angeles who enjoy talking about and going on field trips. Discussions involve gem and mineral collecting sites and coordination of field trips in southern California.

Membership in the list discussions is open to anyone. Participation on most of the field trips requires that you be a member of an accredited rock club.
