Presenters wanted for July 9th meetup   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #433 of 478 |
According to the group survey, the highest demand for LA Ruby activities is for presentations.  Presentations both on the latest Ruby gems and frameworks, and on good programming practices in Ruby were effectively tied for first place.

So, if you have a presentation that you can do for LA Ruby on July 9th, either on something exciting and new in the Ruby world, or teaching us all to be better engineers, please let me know.  We can accommodate presentation lengths from 20 minutes to about an hour.

Thanks,

-Alf

P.S. Still no one has volunteered to provide a venue for the meetup on July 9th, so it's looking like we'll be meeting at AT&T Interactive in Glendale again.

P.P.S. If there's somebody that you know of who's well-known in the Ruby/Rails community and who is either based in Los Angeles or known to travel to Los Angeles and you'd like to see them do a presentation on something, let me know.
