NOTICE to all U.S. business, educational, industrial, utility, city, county, state government, and Public Safety radio users and licensees: Is your private LMR/SMR two way voice dispatch, paging, data, or SCADA radio system ready for the FCC's January 1, 2011 and 2013 Part 90 VHF and UHF "narrowbanding" compliance dates? Non-compliance may mean license cancellation and the loss of legal use of your radio system frequencies.
The mandate applies to all conventional and trunked voice and data networks currently operating on legacy wideband (25 KHz) analog or digital RF channels in the 150-174 MHz (VHF) and 421-512 MHz (UHF) bands of the wireless spectrum.
