The latest release of Mono, the Open source implementation of .NET is released today. Could this help the take up of .NET generally? The more platforms .NET is available on the more interest there will be in it I would have thought. Anybody been involved in Mono?

In terms of encouraging uptake it's a shame that WPF isn't even on the radar for the Mono guys, it'd probably be a sticking point for me if I were to be using...
