The Lone Star Storm Spotters Network, Founded by Warren Rowe-WR1TX, is comprised of SERIOUS, DEDICATED, and EXPERIENCED storm spotters, Chasers, Emergency Management personnel, TV Weather forecasters, Emergency Services personnel, and ARES Officers. All members have attended Skywarn training classes, have passed a 25-question test on various material as provided by LSSN, and condoned by the National Weather Service, hold a current Amateur Radio license, and filled out a membership profile form. Our main goal is to coordinate with County EC's, and have assigned liasons to transfer information from one county to another, secondary to the group being spotters. For more information or any questions, contact N5SSI or KD5WML to get more details, or visit our main website below for more information.

LSSN serves three main purposes: (1) to coordinate storm spotter activities, (2) To report significant weather to the National Weather Service (NWS) as well as to liason to other entities who need such information, and (3) To assist other entities or counties with operations, should the need arise.
