NEWS: SHAFT EXTENSIONS TO BE SENT TO NEW LXD75-SN10 OWNERS. Meade responds quickly to unforeseen balance problem resulting from upgraded and substantially heavier finder scope and focuser. Sources indicate that the two inch counterweight shaft extensions, considered a prefferable solution to additional weights, have been fabricated and are now being shipped. Counterweight shafts in future production runs will be two inches longer.

LPI UPDATE: MISSING LPIs START ARRIVING. [Previously: Highly likely that missing LPIs are on the way. One source suggests that clerical error caused LPI delivery glitch for first wave of shipments. Missing LPIs to be shipped under separate cover. Shipments now expected to be bundled properly. [Previously: LPIs BACKORDERED? Customers report computerized "AT" models delivered without LPI.]]
