Does anyone have a strong magnet that I could borrow for erasing VHS tapes? I have heard neodymium magnets are strong enough.

I am working with a department that wants to recycle them but needs to erase them for confidentiality first.  They could buy a degausser but those are relatively expensive for a one time use. I would need to borrow it for about a day or two.
