General Meeting
June 9, 2009

Meeting was called to order by President Joe Nieters at 7:00 PM

Board Members Present: Joe Nieters, Jane Delaney, Tricia Williamson, Bill & Sandy Sinclair, Jack Hostetter, Lucy Wheeler

Business/Presidents Report:

The May Minutes were e-mailed to all members. Having no objections from the members, the minutes were approved.

Tricia Williamson has agreed to fill the membership committee vacancy for the remainder of the year.

Committee Reports: There were no new reports from the committee chairpersons

Special Committee Reports:

Sandy Sinclair reported that the Lake Arts Council will present a Community Organ and Piano Concert on June 28, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Harper Chapel Church in Osage Beach and have invited photographers from the Lake Arts Photo Club to take pictures of the event.

Members of the club were invited to display images at the Jefferson City Capital Arts Gallery located at 1203 Missouri Blvd In Jefferson City from August 22 to October 1, 2009.

Old Business: None

Announcements:

Robert Renfrow is offering to teach classes during the summer and will be announcing topics and times when they are determined.

Prints for challenges and competitions will now allow [sizes up to] 8-1/2" x 11" or 8" x 12"

Volunteers are needed for The Annual Art and Ambiance Fair August 8^th 10 am-5pm and/or August 9^th 11 am- 4 pm

Program: Bob Colvin of the Jefferson City Photo Club did a presentation of Wildlife and Nature
