Description

Welcome!

This group, hosted by Geography Matters, is established for families and teachers using the Trail Guide to Learning series written by Debbie Strayer and Linda Fowler. This curriculum series addresses all learning styles, is multi-level, and teaches subjects as they relate to other subjects, developing student's ability to think and reason.

The first book, Paths of Exploration, is for 3rd-5th grade students. If your youngest is 2nd grade or you are teaching a 6th grader the curriculum is easily adaptable to meet their needs.

The second level, Paths of Settlement, is for 4th-6th grade students. If your youngest is 3rd grade or you are teaching a 7th grader the curriculum is easily adaptable to meet their needs.

The third in the series, Paths of Progress, rounds out three years of American History and is for 5th-7th grade students. If your youngest is 4th grade or you are teaching a 8th grader the curriculum is easily adaptable to meet their needs.

For a description of this curriculum and sample pages please visit the Learning Series website. Trail Guide to Learning Series

Sample Student Notebooking pages are in the files section of this group.

Please do not use this group to promote your own personal business ventures or to sell your curriculum or used books. We'd love to hear how your family is using the Learning Series. We're here to offer suggestions and answer your questions as well.
