Please Listen: Audio loss on HVX200 P2?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #1963 of 2140 |
Hello there professionals. The audio file below is from a recent shoot
where I used a SR on a HVX200. I sent two channels to the SR from my
mixer with two UM400a's. The talent was wearing SMDa's, which TX to
two 411a's in my bag. The file is of the male talents lav. This sound
has not occurred ever using the SR before and after this shoot. I have
not heard this type of loss before. I do not know if it is SR getting RF
slammed or digital drop out from the P2. Has anyone heard this before?
The cameraman was not listening to return. I was only listening to the
talents lavs. By the way, I backed it up on a H4n, the editor was
extremely happy! What do you think? http://www.baeta.org/audio.loss.m4a
The blips are at 0:36, 0:40, 01:18 -Bryan

... Hi Bryan, I listen to the audio a couple of times and it sounds like a interference from two way radio as I had something similar while recording with the...

Did you ever get this problem resolved? Also, about how many pixels' worth of RF were you getting at the receiver at the time? David Thomas Lectrosonics...

Thanks for following up Dave. The editor and I with some help from the comments on this forum decided that it was definitely radio interference. It sounds and...
