Administrative : The 365-day Year in Ancient Days   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #1792 of 1822 |
Dear Lexiliners,

We are a "serious" list which is however not negative to new ideas, but we have no patience for theories which have no basis in known scientific fact.

As written at Time.com  quite a few decades ago:

"According to astronomical theory no force external to the earth can produce large changes in its rotation on its axis."

I do not want to act as a censor and I have therefore permitted the last postings about some fantasied 300-day pre-flood year be posted, but enough is enough.

The 365-day year (plus about a quarter of a day) is the one that exists now and which also existed in the ancient eras which we discuss at Lexiline.

All this talk about a 300-day pre-Flood year is - in my opinion - nonsense, because it is not backed up by a single piece of scientific evidence.

We will accept no more posts about this topic and suggest that LexiLine members interested in this topic go to esoteric lists where such things are discussed.

Thank you.

Andis
