Re: Erratic behaviour, very bizzare

Ok, for the past month now I have used the third unit that was made available to
me by virtue of having colleagues switching to BlackBerry, them fools.

Anyhow, the unit in question is now fitted with my CF card and has been pretty
stable. No random activation of program or anything of the sort. It must have
had something to do with screen or the re-assembly as suggested by Phil.

Thanks for your help everyone.

PS Expect another post shortly about resolving conflicts with the BlackBerry.

Maurice

when I changed the Drive with a Flash Card. Upon reassembly the screen went
berserk; flashing and activating different programs in a random pattern. It
seemed to do this spontaneously, but I noticed that it calmed down when I put it
down. I ran my fingernail under the frame edges around the screen and it seemed
to follow my finger nail somewhat, although not all the time. I did manage to
cure it by carefully reassembling it again. The problem has not showed up again,
but it did scare me a little.

Actually, yes and no. The BT and WiFi are usually off. The IR is always on. And I may add, it happens just about anytime and anywhere. I was at Sears shopping...

Mine does this as well but the only cause I can find was little bits of grit or grime under the edges of the buttons/pads. I cleaned mine as best I could ...
