How it started out I don't remember exactly, but at some time I
started to create an artificial language. As an interesest in
language in general, and also because of some features of the
English language I disliked. A that time I created 'Rootian
English', some sort of upgraded English (at least that was the idea).

However it looked too much like English for people to accept it as a
new language, and also it lacked some features that are present in
known conlangs like Esperanto or Ido. Therefore I have discontinued
that conlang and started out with a new one.

Allthough I liked Esperanto and Ido, I still thought they could be
improved. I wanted to improve on two aspects:
-compositional transparancy
-recognizability

For the first item I have kept to the principle of agglutination,
that is suffixes are glued onto word-endings without changing them.
This also ensured transparancy of the grammatical transformation of
one word to another. Simple example: worki (to work) becomes 'eun
workio' (a work).

The second aspect was to improve on recognizability, especially to
English speaking people, because that is the current dominant
language.
This means using suffixes that are recognizable and
therefore 'rememberable', or at least give some hint of there
meaning.

In that way I have constructed the language.

In the first place I would like people to comment on their
experience of the language, what they like and what can still be
improved (allthough the language is pretty much crystallized in
respect to its grammar).

If I receive some positive feedback and some people are interested
to join in on the language, some joined activities might be
interesting. For example a Lingone News Wiki seems a nice idea to
me. Other ideas are also welcome. If you are interested you can join
the group; for now I will keep it open to everyone, though.

I will await your response!

Greetings,
Joris.
