LINKEDIN – U.S. GOVERNMENT RELATIONS is a forum for LinkedIn members who are in business and who have interactions with the U.S. Federal Government - legislative or regulatory. The forum is designed to allow for networking with other businesses, share lobbying strategies and tactics, post valuable advisories, and have general conversations about solving business problems in Washington.
It is a forum to pose issues confronting your business; issues which emanate from the federal government. First and foremost, however, we will share best practices on how LI members who are lobbyists, business representatives and government officials can best leverage their experiences to address issues related to business and the government.
This is NOT a political forum for chat about Republicans or Democrats. It is, however, a forum that can be used to suggest policy changes in Congress or the Administration that could benefit your industry - your individual company.
It is a forum to discuss the use of lobbyists - what is a lobbyist, when would a company, association, individual, foreign country or international business need a lobbyist, what kind of a lobbyist would be of value in a specific situation, etc.
