Signal vs. Noise leaving LinkedIn   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #3173 of 7970 |
Dear all,

Signal vs. Noise is being very clear about its feelings regarding leaving LinkedIn in this brief post: http://www.37signals.com/svn/posts/73-linkedin-cant-we-talk-about-this-first-me-no  that showed up in my Gmail web clips first thing in the morning.

Is it true that one has to contact Support in order to delete an account? When faced with a similar requirement before, on other websites/ in real life (e.g. my experience with mobile carrier Orange detailed here: http://gorgeoux.blogspot.com/2006/04/good-service-is-bad-for-business.html), I considered it unfriendly and time consuming.

I don't plan on leaving LinkedIn soon. Was only quite surprised to hear about this, as otherwise I'm more than pleased with the functionalities. Curious about your thoughts.
