I want to Thank all of you for your questions and comments.
Also, we would like to welcome all of our new members to Linkedin
Malaysia. I certainly appreciate your support and appreciation.

I would like to mention my good friend Shari Mat Saleh, Malaysian
Trade Commissioner and Director of MATRADE Los Angeles for the
benefit of our new members and all readers etc. I am quite pleased
that she is a member of Linkedin Malaysia and she also enjoys and
appreciates the questions and comments in our forum.

I receive quite a few emails or calls offline from members and
another new members wanted some information concerning MATRADE and
MIDA. Here is some brief information concerning MATRADE.

MATRADE is Malaysia's national trade promotion agency and MATRADE
functions as a focal point for Malaysian exporters and foreign
importers to source for trade related information.

MATRADE organizes/assists in participation of Malaysian companies in:
. international trade fairs.
. trade and investment missions organised jointly with MITI and MIDA.
. specialised marketing missions to explore and identify new trade
opportunities in selected markets.
. dissemination of information on Malaysian products and services
through information booths and display of catalogues at international
trade fairs.
. trade related enquiries received from foreign buyers are
disseminated to Malaysian manufacturers and service providers.
. Business meetings between foreign buyers and Malaysian suppliers
organised in conjunction with the visit of buying missions

One of DK Malaysia's main goals is to promote investment, business
opportunities, trade, travel and tourism in Malaysia and to assist
MIDA, MATRADE and Tourism Malaysia achieve their goals and
