Dear L4Lers-
This is kind of a two-fer.
First of all, Logos is up and running with their new web forums. They are officially encouraging users to make use of the new web forums and leave the old newsgroups behind. For me, this is great news, since I really hate using the newsgroups. I realize hatred of newsgroups is blasphemy to some, but I just always felt it was a pretty clumsy technology and that well-programmed web forums did a better job. Anyway, you can check out the web forums at community.logos.com. It's a neat way to get questions answered by a wider community, and Logos HQ people regularly monitor and answer questions there, too.
Second, someone recently posted a question on the web forums about clicking on a place name in a Bible verse and getting a map showing you where the place is. There are several methods you can use to accomplish this, but someone named Philip at Logos wrote up a good one in response, and you can find that at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/105.aspx. Philip's is a few posts down. Look for the one with the screen shot in it.
Enjoy!
Aaron
