Schaller's Biblical Christology on Libronix!   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #678 of 807 |
On my annual pilgrimage to Northwestern Publishing House, I came across a very cool new NPH resource on Libronix - Prof. John Schaller's Biblical Christology from 1919. From what I understand, the hardcopy version of this book is no longer in print, but it's now available through NPH with beefed up features for your Libronix DLS. I posted the following on my blog ...
  • Biblical Christology: A Study in Lutheran DogmaticsI had heard nothing about this previously, but NPH just came out with a Libronix version of Prof. John Schaller's excellent exposition on this central teaching of the Christian faith. (Some of you might recall that the hardcopy version of this text is one of the few yellow hardcovers that NPH prints.) It was originally meant to be the first portion of a new "English Dogmatics" by Schaller started in 1919, but the Lord in his wisdom chose to bring Prof. Schaller home to glory in 1920 after a very brief bout with Spanish influenza. Included with Christology is a 1920 Quartalschrift printing of what was to be the next portion of the Dogmatics, as well as several exhaustive indexes. The price is quite reasonable for a Libronix product of this kind at $33.50 ($30.15 with the NPH Called Worker discount). I've already downloaded the software into my Libronix Digital Library and look forward to making greater use of this new resource in the future!
God's blessings!

In Christ,
Jeremiah Gumm
