Dear all,
For those of you who might be interested, my ladybird/ground beetle
website is moving to http://www.ladybird-survey.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/
shortly.
This isn't just self-advertisement: if any of you have web-sites or
know of any good ones (which don't already appear on my /links.htm
page) please let me know as I am checking and up-dating links.
I suppose I should also take this opportunity to remind you that I'm
pleased to receive any records (old or new) of ladybirds and carabids
from the London area.
The year has been odd for the common ladybirds which were present in
good numbers early in the year but 'disappeared' before the summer.
There are plenty of larvae and pupae around now so there may be an
upsurge in numbers soon if the weather stayes clement.
Best wishes, Paul
