Following from Paul's last message, I have put up a file with some
primitive photos of a ladybird I bagged this morning.
I know that markings are highly variable, especially with Adalia 10-
punctata and I presume that is what I have in the photos.
Anyway, this one has 12 distinct spots plus a little smudge. Perhaps
some kind person can help me with the identification. The Adalia
bipunctata are just added for comparison. The photos are on 5mm
graph paper.
I put the photos up as a Word document because I can't work out an
easy way to increase the brightness on a stored JPEG.
Excuse the photo quality, I just held a magnifier in front of the
digital camera lens. Cheap and cheerful, not highly recommended.
Regards, Mick.
