You're going to want to open the Graph Editor with the camera selected in item
mode. You
will see influence handles on each point in the curve for each individual motion
channel.
Tweaking those handles (or right clicking on the control points and changing the
curve
interpolation mode to eg. flat) will control the automatically generated
transition
animations.
If that doesn't work for you just set your default curvature to flat and animate
each frame
individually. (Bad idea.)
The defaults are set up to give you smooth animation with fewer control points;
so it's
likely that if you're having issues with placement and rotation; you're just
using too many
control points in your animation.
Also bear in mind that you might only be animating the motion channels (x,y,z)
etc. I
highly suggest grabbing Andy's modo in focus that includes the animation stuff
and
watching it.
