The Three Rivers Chapter (TRC) of the Missouri Archaeological Society (MAS)
serves the Missouri counties of Washington, St. Francois, Franklin and Ste.
Genevieve. TRC activities include salvage archaeological excavations (sites
which are in danger of being destroyed), workshops, documenting private
collections, and providing education programs to schools as well as youth and
adult groups. The TRC also accepts private collections for display, research and
educational purposes.

The TRC was organized in 1993 and meets at 7:00 PM on the second Monday of each
month, except June, July, and August. After a short business meeting, guest
speakers and/or members address a wide variety of archaeological topics, which
the public is invited to attend.

This month's featured speaker will be Susan Corbett, historic chef, author, and
wine connoisseur.
