Archaeologist Greg Perino   Message List

We've just learned that archaeologist Greg Perino passed away the morning of
July 4, 2005. He had been ill for some time following a series of strokes.

To say that Greg Perino was a legend in the archaeological community would be an
understatement; his career stretches back at least to the late 1940s, if not
earlier. A recent article from the Central States Archaeological Society
describes just some of his many contributions:

We'll pass along further details as they become available.
