UPDATE: Sutter-Meyer excavation for weekend of July 16 & 17 POSTPON   Message List

Profuse apologies for the extremely short notice everyone, but we have to
postpone this weekend's much-discussed re-opening of the Sutter-Meyer
excavation in University City; Dr. Carol Diaz-Granados had a last-minute change
in her schedule and I'm under the weather, so we don't have anyone to oversee
the work and it just wouldn't be good archaeology to proceed otherwise.

As soon as we're both available -- hopefully, within the next few days -- I'll
get together with Carol to work up a firm schedule for the next couple/three
months and publish it so everyone who wants to participate (or even just to come
by and watch) has plenty of time to plan ahead. We'll also be sure to avoid
other events, like our upcoming field trip to Arrow Rock on September 17, for
example.

Again, I'm very sorry if this has inconvenienced or disappointed anyone. Please
let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.

Thanks and have a nice weekend,

Greg
