For those of you who couldn't make it (and for those of you who did and
wanted proof of a really fun trip), I've finally uploaded the photos
from our recent field trip. You can view them on-line at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MAS-MCAS/files/images/20030712/ .
Once again, I want to thank the folks up at the Center for American
Archeology (especially our guide Jason King) for showing us around.
I also want to thank the two dozen folks who joined us (including the
two nice ladies who fed us fresh blueberries on the Kampsville ferry
and then accompanied us to the Mound House site). I was so pleased at
the turnout; it'll be hard to top next year.
Most importantly, I want to thank fellow Mound Citizens Barb Hubick and
Larry Kinsella for organizing such a successful adventure (I still
haven't figured out how the two of you managed the beautiful weather).
Have a nice day,
Greg
