MEG with Mechanical Actuators   Message List

Hello all,

I have compiled a rudimentary drawing of a MEG with mechanical
actuators at,

http://users.tpg.com.au/rauli/MEG_with_Mechanical_Actuators.gif

that may eliminate the need for direct input electrical power since
some criticise the MEG being nothing more than a transformer where
the actuator coils input power cannot exceed the output power from
the induction/secondary coils though don't assume I agree with them.
Wish I had the time to build this and try it but perhaps someone else
can beat me to it. Can the power driving the mechanical actuators to
short the magnetic paths be made less than the output power from the
induction coils? Tell me what you think.

Thanks,
Rauli
