I am curious to know what exactly are the Metop L2 Sounding Products and
what channel they are received.

It appears that you need to be receiving this data to have your account
automatically activated for the NOAA 19 L2 ATOVS on EPS-14. I am not
concerned about NOAA 19 L2 ATOVS as it in bufr format and therefore
unusable, but as I say I am curious about the Metop data as I haven't heard
of that before.
