Hey Luc - I thought the same thing when I started. It doesn't make a
lot of sense unless you follow the right people/push out relevant
information. It's such a great tool for both pr/marketing and finding
great tips and information. Think of it as mini-blogging.

Twitter is for following people you want to know, as Facebook is for
following those you already know.

If you got to summize.com and type in keywords that are relevant to
your interests, you can find people to follow with similar interests.
Generally when you do this, they will follow you back.

I use a few tools to make it easier. Splitweet.com lets you manage
multiple accounts - some other great tools are tweetdeck and twirl.

Some good people to follow are:
@jack, @ev, @davemorin, @zappos, @apple_news, @zeldman, @balanon,
@ScottMonty, @MCHammer, @prchannel ....
