MRS-Africa Working Group is created by a group of African Materials Scientists at the Fall Meeting of the Materials Research Society. MRS-Africa is a voluntary group with the following goals
1. Facilitate effective partnerships
and collaborations among African
Materials Scientists and their
counterparts outside Africa
2.Support improvement of science education in Africa
3.Support the development of a virtual network for materials research. This will include a database enabling collaborations among African Materials Scientists and their counterparts outside Africa.
